About our College
Established in 2012, M Dasan Institute of Technology (MDIT) stands at the forefront of innovation in engineering education under the M. Dasan Memorial Co‑operative Institute of Engineering and Information Technology . Rooted in the co-operative sector, MDIT upholds a culture of transparency, participation, and shared growth, reflecting our philosophy that education thrives where people, purpose, and progress come together. Located amidst the serene greenery of Ulliyeri, Kozhikode, our campus offers an environment that inspires focused learning and holistic development. SRISHTITHI 2.0 – M-DIT Technical Fest
Srishtithi 2.0 is the flagship technical fest of M. Dasan Institute of Technology, Kozhikode, designed as a dynamic platform where innovation meets creativity. The event brings together students, tech enthusiasts, and innovators to explore, experiment, and showcase emerging technologies through a wide range of engaging activities. The fest features an exciting lineup of technical events, including hackathons, seminars, AI debates, AI website sprints, technical quizzes, tech talks, ideathons, PCB designing, cube tests, paper and poster presentations, 3D printing workshops, and hands-on model demonstrations. Creative and practical challenges such as gaming tournaments, Minecraft-based design using plastic or coloured papers, monumental drawing, bridge setting, and working model displays further enhance the experience. In addition, Srishtithi 2.0 hosts an Auto Show, an exclusive showcase of two-wheelers and four-wheelers highlighting unique designs, performance builds, and creative modifications—celebrating innovation and passion for automobiles. With focused stalls representing sectors such as Airport systems, Ramco, Railway, KSEB, Electric Vehicles (EV), and Solar Technology, the event also offers valuable exposure to real-world applications and industry relevance. Through workshops, competitions, exhibitions, and expert interactions, Srishtithi 2.0 promises an experience that inspires learning, competition, collaboration, and growth—making it a complete celebration of technology and creativity.
KAAYIKAM 26 – ATHLETIC MEET
Kaayikam 26 Athletic Meet is a grand celebration of sports, fitness, and unity, organized to promote physical excellence and the true spirit of sportsmanship. This prestigious athletic event brings together enthusiastic participants and skilled athletes, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their speed, strength, endurance, and determination. The meet features a variety of track and field events designed to encourage healthy competition, discipline, and teamwork. Beyond competition, Kaayikam 26 aims to inspire a lifelong appreciation for physical activity and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Date: 24 January 2026 Venue: Medical College Ground, Kozhikode Students, staff, and sports enthusiasts are warmly invited to witness and participate in this energetic sporting extravaganza.
Training Session by MANTRAX
M. Dasan Institute of Technology successfully conducted a Training Session by MANTRAX exclusively for final year students as part of its efforts to enhance industry readiness and employability skills. The training program focused on equipping students with practical knowledge, professional competencies, and insights into current industry expectations. The sessions were held on 14 January 2026, 15 January 2026, and 17 January 2026, from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM at the Auditorium. The program witnessed active participation from students and provided valuable exposure through expert guidance, interactive discussions, and hands-on learning experiences. The successful completion of the training session contributed significantly to strengthening students’ confidence, technical capabilities, and career preparedness.

The Chief Minister’s Mega Quiz 26 was successfully conducted as a prestigious individual knowledge competition aimed at encouraging intellectual curiosity and academic excellence among students. The event provided participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge across diverse topics including current affairs, history, science, culture, and governance. The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased the analytical skills, confidence, and awareness of the participants. With a well-structured format and thought-provoking questions, the event created an engaging and intellectually stimulating environment. The successful completion of The Chief Minister’s Mega Quiz 26 stands as a testament to the importance of promoting knowledge, critical thinking, and a culture of learning among young minds.
