• Print the online application form available on the website, fill it out, and submit.
• SSLC/Equivalent certificate - Original with 3 Copies.
• Diploma Certificate and Consolidated Mark List - Original with 3 Copies.
• TC & Conduct Certificate - Original.
• Copy of Aadhaar Card.
• Passport Size Photo - 3 Copies.
* After submitting documents at the admission desk, you will receive an Admission Number. With obtained Admission Number you can pay the first-year fee through online mode.
a. All applicants are requested to frequently visit the website for updates.
b. The admission process will be purely on merit basis, and seats will be allotted based on the rank list prepared from approved Diploma Examination results.
c. Candidates who are provisionally admitted after the counselling should confirm their seats by submitting the required documents and completing fee payment at the college office.
d. Non-payment of the fee within the specified time frame will lead to forfeiture of the confirmed seat.
e. The admission process will be considered complete only after fee payment and submission of all required documents.
▪ M Dasan Institute of Technology (MDIT), Kozhikode, offers admission to the B.Tech (3-year Full-Time) Lateral Entry programme under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), Thiruvananthapuram, and is approved by AICTE.
▪ Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
▪ Academic Requirements: Candidates should hold a Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or equivalent, approved by the Government of Kerala. Candidates who have completed their Diploma from other state boards must produce an equivalency certificate if required.
▪ Minimum Marks: A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the final Diploma examination is required to be eligible for admission.
▪ Final Year Students: Candidates appearing for the final semester Diploma examination are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the qualifying certificate before the stipulated date by the university.
▪ Entrance Examination: Candidates should qualify in the Lateral Entry Entrance Examination (LET) conducted by the Joint Controller of Technical Examinations, Government of Kerala.
▪ Vacant Seats: If seats remain vacant after Government allotment, candidates without LET rank may be considered for admission under the management quota as per the guidelines of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).
• Management allots 50% of the total seats under the Management Allotment category.
• All seats under the management category are allotted purely on a merit basis.
• The management merit rank list is prepared by considering the marks obtained in the final year Diploma Examination, as per DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) directions.
• The merit rank list will be published as per the schedule, based on applications received before the announced date.
• There is no donation for management seats, and the institution has no agents or intermediaries for admission.
• As per the agreement with the Government of Kerala, 50% of the seats are allotted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) through the Lateral Entry Entrance Examination (LET).
• Government allotments are made following the prescribed reservation criteria.
