The Digital Library at M- Dasan Institute of Technology offers seamless online access to a wide array of e-books, scholarly journals, professional research databases, and video resources. Users can access academic material anytime, supporting both classroom and remote learning environments

Library Rules and Regulations

In order to ensure the best possible environment for all users, each user of the library is required to abide by the following rules and regulations:

  1. The library is a place for silent and private study; users must maintain silence at all times.
  2. Consultations and discussions inside the library are strictly prohibited.
  3. Refreshments of any kind shall not be taken anywhere in the library.
  4. Users are required to present their library card when using the library.
  5. Library cards are not transferable. Issue and return of books are intended for cardholders only
  6. If books are lost, the borrower must replace the book with the same edition, the latest edition or pay double the cost of the book after permission from the librarian.
  7. Loss of a library card must be reported in writing to the librarian, signed by a tutor. A duplicate card will be issued once with a fine of Rs. 50/-.
  8. Students must check books for any marks, loose pages, or damaged spines while borrowing, and will be responsible for any damage noticed upon return. Library materials must not be marked, defaced, mutilated, or annotated in any way. If damage is noticed on an issued book, a fine of 50% or 25% of the book price will be levied.
  9. Books will be issued for 25 days (initial 15 days plus a 10-day renewal). A fine of Rs. 1/-  per day per book is charged from the due date.
  10. No personal belongings are allowed inside the library.
  11. Use of mobile phones and audio devices is strictly prohibited within library premises.
  12. Reference documents will not be issued outside the library.
