SC/ST
Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) have been identified as the two backward group of casts in Indian. They include all the castes, races or tribes, which have been socially, economically and educationally backward. The SC/ST cell has been established to support and to bring students from such communities to build their academic, self and social wealth. The SC/ST cell of the college was established in 2021 with the purpose to empower the SC/ST students in the college.
Objectives: -
- To ensure necessities of an environment where all such students feel safe and secure inside the campus.
- To communicate with the students and motivate them for better future planning.
- To encourage the students for their curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and make relief them from inferiority complex.
- To circulate the various scholarships provided by State Government, Central Government, UGC and various Government and Non-Government bodies.
- To conduct / co-ordinate training programmes for students in life skills and personality development to help in their placement.
- To aware about various State government and Central Government job opportunities, reservation facility available in these jobs and exam preparation methods.
- To review follow up measures taken to achieve the objectives and targets laid down by the Govt. of India and the UGC.
