Message From HOD
Welcome to the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at MDIT!
Our department is keen in imparting high-quality teaching, developing the capability to apply the knowledge of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to work efficiently in multidisciplinary teams. The department also focusses to inculcate instudents, a professional, ethical and social attitude, effective communication skill, team work and multidisciplinary approach there by preparing students for a successful career in industry, research and academics to meet the needs of growing technology. Our department always committed not only to persue academic excellence but also to motivate the students to be life long learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever-changing global society to become change makers of the future.
Apart from the regular curriculum the department initiates students to acquire additional skills through add on courses in upcoming areas and software applications. The dapartment conducts various programs such as Workshops, Technical Training, Project-Expo, Guest Lectures and Seminars by experts from industry and academic background, under the department association for constant knowledge up-gradation with the state of the art. Industrial visits and internships are promoted to improve the practical knowledge of students and to build an association with the outside field.
The department have state of the art lab facilities to support our academic programs and research which enable the student to have hands on experience individually. The department is well supported by qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and the technical supporting staff is unique in its own way. For the past decade, the department has been producing large number of outstanding engineers for the country. Many of our alumni have made notable contributions in the industry and academic professions. As a team, we continue to provide outcome based quality education for the generations to come.
