Electronics and Communication Engineering

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the academic year 2012–2013. The department has been a driving force in shaping competent professionals in the dynamic field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Over the years, we have continuously evolved to meet the ever-changing demands of technology and industry, while maintaining a strong focus on academic excellence and innovation.

Academic Program

We offer a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Full-Time) with an intake of 30 students. The program is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), ensuring adherence to the highest standards of technical education and professional competence.

Learning Environment

Our department emphasizes outcome-based education, integrating solid theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on experience. Students are encouraged to think critically, explore creatively, and apply their learning to solve real-world challenges.

To support this vision, the department maintains well-equipped laboratories and a department library, providing students with access to a wide range of textbooks and reference materials.

Innovation and Technical Activities

The department is home to several vibrant initiatives that nurture innovation and teamwork:

  • EZAIC (Electronic Zone for Admiration and Innovation in Communication Engineering):
A dynamic student association that organizes workshops, seminars, and technical events, promoting innovation and collaboration.

  • e-Yantra Lab (in collaboration with IIT Bombay):
A specialized facility dedicated to training students in Robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT), helping them gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.

  • Robotics Club – “Autonomous”:
A student-driven platform that inspires creativity and practical learning through robotics projects, competitions, and research-oriented activities.
