IQAC Quality Policy

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a statutory body established to ensure continuous and sustained quality enhancement in all academic and administrative activities of the institution. IQAC functions as a centralized unit that systematically plans, executes, monitors, and reviews quality-related initiatives to promote excellence across all departments. The Cell works to develop a culture of quality by implementing structured processes for teaching–learning, evaluation and student support. It coordinates institutional efforts to maintain academic standards, collect and analyze stakeholder feedback, and support accreditation and audit processes. By establishing benchmarks, ensuring transparency, and fostering continuous improvement, the IQAC plays a pivotal role in strengthening the overall performance and credibility of the institution.

Objective

The primary objective of the IQAC Cell is to develop a systematic, consistent, and sustainable quality enhancement framework within the institution. The Cell aims to ensure continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance by:

• Preparing the College Academic Calendar in alignment with the university academic calendar and recommendations from the College Council.
• Conducting periodic Internal Academic Audits of course files and supporting External Academic Auditors through organized documentation and processes.
• Collecting and analysing feedback on infrastructure and the teaching–learning process from students, parents, and faculty to strengthen institutional effectiveness.
• Monitoring the quality of internal assessments by scrutinizing series exam papers, assignment questions, and overall assessment practices.
• Fixing benchmarks, cut-off values, and weightages for attainment calculations to ensure transparent and outcome-based academic evaluation.
• Facilitating continuous enhancement in the institution’s performance through systematic planning, implementation, and review of quality-related initiatives.
