About
The Eco Club of M DIT Engineering College was established in 2020 with the aim of creating environmental awareness and promoting sustainable practices within the campus. Since its formation, the club has been actively involved in various green initiatives such as tree planting, waste management drives, and environmental day celebrations, encouraging students to be responsible stewards of nature.

As a part of Eco Club “ENVIRONIA” of MDIT conducted a webinar on the topic “Beat plastic Pollution by Faris N (Regional Operations Manager,Green Worms)

Street Play
In a commendable effort to address the pressing issue of plastic and cloth waste, MDIT Engineering College in collaboration with Green Worms,Ulliyeri Grama Panchayath organized a dramatic event at the Ulliyeri Bus Stand. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the environmental impact of plastic waste and promote sustainable practices within the local community.
Inauguration
In an effort to reduce plastic waste on campus , the Eco Club initiated a plastic Bottle Collection Unit.The collection unit was inaugurated by our Principal Mr.P M Maheesan.
