Energy Club
An Energy club has been established at M-Dasan Institute of Technology under the department of Electrical and Electronics engineering as per circular KTU/SO1(ACADEMIC)/3914/2024 dt 12.12.2024 of Dean (ACADEMIC), APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The NSS programme officer of the college is an ex-officio member in the Energy club. Through this club the department closely associates with Energy Management Centre Kerala and Energy Conservation Society Kerala and offers different programmes throuh our to propogate energy conservation activities among students as well as public. The club also guides in the area of Energy Auditing for buildings/institutions/industries etc.

- Expert Tlak on 'Energy Conservation
An expert talk on the topic "Energy Conservation" has been organized by the Energy club of MDIT on 27/03/2025 for all the students in MDIT. The program was inagurated by Dr. PM Maheeshan, Principal, MDIT .The resource person for the program was Dr K Soman, President, Energy Conservation Society, Kerala.
- Expert Talk on "Cool Roof Technology"
An expert talk on the topic "Cool Roof Technology" has been organized by the Energy Management Centre (EMC) in association with Energy Club MDIT on 04/05/2025 for public(Residence of kozhikode south legislative assembly). The program was inagurated by Ahamed Devarkovil MLA .The resource persons for the program was Dr Asokan O (HOD, Electrical and Electronics Department, MDIT) and Mr. Akhil S(Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Department, MDIT).
