Heaven Organization-M-DIT
Heaven Organization is a compassionate initiative founded by students of Mdit Engineering College, Ulliyeri, Kozhikode, with a mission to support and care for children who are orphans, homeless, or living in poverty. The organization was established by Anooja S Pradeep, a student in the fifth semester of Computer Science and Engineering, and Sanoop Sunny, a third-semester student of Mechanical Engineering. Heaven Organization aims to expand its efforts throughout Kerala, ensuring that no child is left without the care and support they need.
Founders and Leadership
- Anooja S Pradeep: A dedicated student from the S5 CSE batch, Anooja has shown exceptional leadership and empathy, driving the vision of Heaven Organization forward.
- Sanoop Sunny: Co-founder from the third semester of Mechanical Engineering, Sanoop has been instrumental in mobilizing resources and volunteers, ensuring the effective execution of the organization’s projects.
Mission and Vision
The primary mission of Heaven Organization is to stand with orphans and needy children, addressing their immediate needs and providing long-term support to improve their quality of life. The vision is to create a supportive community that ensures every child has access to basic necessities, education, and a loving environment.
Activities and Programs
- Educational Support
- Providing educational materials such as books, stationery, and uniforms to children in need.
- Organizing tuition classes and mentoring sessions to help students excel in their studies.
- Nutritional Aid
- Distributing food packets and nutritional supplements to orphanages and shelters.
- Conducting health camps to monitor the nutritional status of children and address deficiencies.
- Shelter and Clothing
- Partnering with local shelters to improve living conditions for homeless children.
- Collecting and distributing clothing, blankets, and other essentials to ensure comfort and warmth.
- Psychosocial Support
- Organizing recreational activities, workshops, and counseling sessions to promote mental well-being.
- Creating a safe space for children to express their thoughts and emotions.
- Awareness Campaigns
- Conducting awareness programs in schools and communities about the challenges faced by orphans and homeless children.
- Engaging with local media and social platforms to highlight the organization's work and attract more volunteers and donors.
Student Involvement and Volunteerism
Heaven Organization has seen active participation from students across various branches of Mdit Engineering College. These volunteers contribute their time, skills, and resources to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization’s activities. Their involvement includes organizing events, fundraising, tutoring, and providing logistical support.
Expansion Plans
With a goal to extend their activities across Kerala, Heaven Organization is:

- Setting Up a Library at HIM (Holy Infant Mary's) Orphanage, Vythiri, Wayanad
ASRAYA-22 ( Programme Organized by Heaven Organization and M-DIT NSS Unit at HIM Orphanage, Vythiri, Wayanad )
ASRAYA-22 was a meaningful and impactful initiative, reinforcing the commitment of Heaven Organization and the M-DIT NSS unit to support underprivileged children. The programme not only provided essential resources and education but also fostered a sense of community and care among the participants.
Following the success of ASRAYA-22, Heaven Organization and the M-DIT NSS unit plan to conduct similar programs in other orphanages and communities across Kerala. They aim to continue their mission of empowering children through education, awareness, and community support.
- Computer Lab Inauguration at Freebird Girls Shelter by Heaven Organization
The Computer Lab Inauguration at Freebird Girls Shelter marks a significant achievement in Heaven Organization's mission to support and uplift underprivileged children. This project not only provides valuable educational resources but also instills hope and confidence in the shelter’s residents
- Smart Classroom Inauguration at Geetha Village
Heaven Organization successfully inaugurated a Smart Classroom at Geetha Village, Moolamattom, Idukki, on April 20, 2024. This project, aimed at enhancing the educational experiences of orphaned children, was completed over six months with the unwavering efforts of Secretary Sanoop Sunny and dedicated student members. The initiative represents Heaven Organization's commitment to providing advanced learning opportunities for underprivileged children. The inauguration of the Smart Classroom at Geetha Village marks a significant milestone in Heaven Organization's mission to support and uplift underprivileged children. This project not only provides valuable educational resources but also instills hope and confidence in the children at Geetha Village.
- ASRAYA-23
Heaven Organization, in collaboration with the M-DIT NSS unit, conducted ASRAYA-23, a week-long program dedicated to supporting and enriching the lives of children at Holy Infant Mary's Orphanage in Vythiri, Wayanad. The event, which took place from March 14, 2023, aimed to provide educational and recreational activities to foster the development and well-being of the children. ASRAYA-23 was a resounding success, reinforcing Heaven Organization and the M-DIT NSS unit's commitment to supporting underprivileged children. The program provided essential resources, education, and a sense of community for the children at Holy Infant Mary's Orphanage.
