APJAKTU Technological University Nss Awards for the year 2020-21 was announced by KTU Vice Chancellor

MDIT Nss was one among the 10 best Nss units chosen
from all the colleges under APJ Abdul Kalam University.Unit 254 was chosen as the best unit from MDIT College situated at Ulliyeri, Kozhikode.Asst Prof.Anwer shahir(PO MDIT NSS) was chosen as the best Program Officer.
Going forward with the motto "Not me but you", Mdit NSS is known for its collaborative excellence and diverse projects such as the highly acclaimed "Home for Homeless".These different projects helped them to achieve this honour.Anwer Shahir and Akhil S, Program Officers of MDIT NSS and Volunteer Secretaries Dulfukar, Abhijith, Reshma and Niveditha led the initiative in developing different projects.
Everyone dreams to have a home. Mdit nss family was able to become part of such a dream through the Home for Homeless project.
MDIT NSS along with MES College, Kuttipuram organized a state level webinar "Bheshajam" on the subject of covid treatment and ayurveda.Many other webinars were also conducted.
As part of the Mappathon project to map the lands of Kerala and other places. NSS volunteers from M Dasan Institute of Technology mapped almost 10 panchayaths in Kozhikode, Wayanad and Malappuram districts.
MDIT NSS was also there to help in the aftermath of the floods. In addition to the distribution of flood kits, a state level survey was conducted in collaboration with the Kerala IT Mission and the Kerala Disaster Management Force to identify the flood damage with the help of the mobile application "Rebuilt kerala". When the world was battling the epidemic of Covid, MDIT NSS's work was to make sure that we were ahead without fear.
Our volunteers were present at Kozhikode Medical College, Kozhikode Railway Station and Kozhikode Collectorate in connection with data entry. MDIT NSS was also able to be a part of the development of the mobile application "Nammude Kozhikode" which is one of the milestones in the development of Kozhikode.
The Podcast "KEKKUNNUNDO" is an idea put forward by MDIT NSS at a time when everything has gone online because of Corona. This program allows us to share our thoughts and opinions with others and to develop our artistic tastes.
